Dear St. Vincent’s Family,

On behalf of St. Vincent’s children and mothers in need – like Rosalinda, we are hoping you can help!  Rosalinda came to St. Vincent’s with an infant and a toddler, and was struggling just to put food on the table. She was a grocery store cashier without career goals. But, after two years in St. Vincent’s Family Strengthening Program and with the help of her case managers her life improved.  The future for her children was uplifted. Rosalinda is now a full time property manager and her daughters are thriving.

St. Vincent’s is the longest running social services nonprofit in Santa Barbara founded by the Daughters of Charity 166 years ago in 1858.  This year is the 25th Anniversary of the Family Strengthening Program (FSP) which provides a home, childcare and complete support services for more than two years to mothers and children in the Santa Barbara community.

Your $200 donation covers one day of complete services for a mother and her two children, a home in our cottages, daycare, food, and parenting classes on our campus.

In 25 years, thousands of mothers and children have lived on St. Vincent’s campus in the FSP and received 24/7 support services.  With the help of donors like you, Mothers only pay minimal program fees and are able to save money for future self-sufficiency.
